Job Highlights
About the Role
• Ensure end‑to‑end compliance with SEZ Act, Rules, and Development Commissioner and Customs notifications. • Oversee approvals, renewals, and submissions via SEZ Online portal (Forms I, G, H, R, etc.). • Monitor regulatory changes and advise internal teams on implications. • Manage bonding, de‑bonding, and movement of goods per SEZ requirements. • Prepare and file Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, SOFTEX, ARE‑1, and other statutory documents. • Coordinate with freight forwarder for cargo collection and delivery orders. • Maintain compliance with Quarterly and Annual Performance Reports. • Ensure timely reporting of Net Foreign Exchange (NFE) obligations. • Lead SEZ‑related audits: Development Commissioner inspections, Customs audits, internal audits. • Maintain statutory registers, compliance calendars, and audit‑ready documentation. • Identify internal control gaps and implement corrective actions. • Serve as primary contact with Development Commissioner’s office, SEZ Customs, Unit Approval Committee, and STPI authorities. • Facilitate approvals, clarifications, and issue resolution with government stakeholders. • Partner with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Legal, and Operations to embed compliance. • Support procurement on duty‑free rules and vendor documentation. • Work with Finance on GST and duty exemption documentation. • Develop and implement SOPs for SEZ compliance. • Improve accuracy, efficiency, and governance of SEZ workflows. • Build dashboards and trackers for approvals, filings, and audits. • Identify compliance risks and create mitigation plans. • Escalate potential non‑compliance issues proactively. • Support resolution of regulatory queries, show‑cause notices, or disputes.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or EXIM. • Possess 8–10 years of logistics experience, preferably with SEZ customs handling in manufacturing.
