About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will act as the Contracting Entity’s senior representative, providing strategic leadership and governance for complex, high‑value infrastructure projects within a live aviation environment. The role ensures delivery is safe, on time, within budget and to specification while championing best practice in integrated project delivery, operational readiness and stakeholder engagement. It also entails overseeing multiple concurrent projects, guiding programme execution and maintaining compliance with NEC and other contractual frameworks. • Establish governance structures and ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, NEC and other contract forms. • Present at governance boards and change control meetings, reporting KPIs, financials and risk mitigation to senior leadership. • Lead multiple concurrent infrastructure projects and develop Project Execution Plans incorporating sustainable approaches. • Drive operational readiness (ORAT) and handover processes, applying phased construction to minimise disruption. • Create and execute stakeholder engagement plans; represent the programme at executive‑level meetings. • Build and mentor a high‑performing team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers. • Manage commercial and contract aspects under NEC, negotiate with suppliers and control procurement within e‑tender thresholds. • Draft and control scope of works, maintain document control systems and ensure cost certainty and schedule integrity. • Champion a culture of health and safety, sustainability and quality across the commission. • Support programming to provide clarity for stakeholder buy‑in, contractor delivery and upstream reporting. • Oversee contract administration and change control processes to maintain governance compliance. • Lead commercial and programme management activities to maintain schedule integrity and cost certainty. • Promote collaboration throughout integrated delivery teams, design consultants and contractors.

What You Bring
• Minimum 15 years experience delivering large‑scale construction/infrastructure projects in live operational environments. • Proven leadership of capital programmes up to €50‑100M, executive stakeholder engagement and governance expertise. • Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, ACC/Unifier/CEMAR and Microsoft Office; SMSTS, CSCS/Safe Pass compliant. • Degree in Project/Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline; professional membership (MCIOB, MIEI, MAPM, MRICS) and PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
