About the Role
The position focuses on leading application engineering efforts for drill bits, bridging technical expertise with business growth and customer collaboration. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance product performance and support the sales organization. • Identify top opportunities for business growth through product development. • Work with repair facilities to improve product quality and margin delivery. • Develop new drill‑bit products to enhance drilling performance, increase market share, and drive a clear product strategy for the basin. • Provide and present technical support and application expertise to sales and operations teams. • Collaborate with customers to analyze and optimize drilling performance and deliver solutions through technical presentations.

What You Bring
The role follows a Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm schedule with flexibility for client needs and requires travel to Hobbs, NM twice per week. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Petroleum preferred) or a similar field. • Have at least 2 years of engineering experience in the oil/gas industry (5 years preferred). • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience with drill bits (3 years preferred). • Demonstrated experience delivering technical presentations to customers.
