About the Role
A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Responsibilities may include yard clean‑up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, office maintenance, and other related tasks. Key duties involve cleaning work areas, fueling and maintaining equipment, operating site vehicles such as water trucks and sweepers, performing yard work like mowing and paper pick‑up, maintaining the office through painting and janitorial tasks, installing temporary wind fences, directing site traffic, and completing additional job‑related assignments as needed. • Clean up work areas • Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick‑up • Operate site vehicles and equipment such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment • Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work • Install temporary wind fences as required • Direct site traffic as necessary
