About the Role
The role accelerates Equinix’s market share and revenue by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones, while protecting and growing revenue in assigned accounts. Collaboration across internal teams and external partners is essential to drive high customer satisfaction and secure growth. You will focus on enterprise‑space opportunities and global platform sales. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts and prospects. • Conduct quarterly business reviews to identify new selling opportunities. • Lead executive briefings and coordinate sales efforts with internal and external partners. • Develop and execute strategic global account plans with cross‑region teams. • Identify customer business needs and match them to Equinix solutions in partnership with SEs/SAs. • Drive contract renewals, mitigate churn risk, and negotiate terms to protect revenue. • Monitor opportunity pipeline in SFDC, forecast accurately, and flag at‑risk accounts. • Prioritize territory accounts, create short‑ and long‑term pursuit plans, and meet sales objectives. • Prospect high‑propensity leads, engage C‑level contacts, and fill the funnel with qualified opportunities. • Lead commercial negotiations, structure deals, and secure favorable terms. • Mentor Account Executives and lead special projects to share best practices.

What You Bring
The position expects a solid sales background, preferably in telecom or media, and a bachelor’s degree. Candidates should be comfortable engaging C‑level executives, negotiating contracts, and mentoring junior sales professionals. Strong knowledge of Equinix’s product suite and solution‑selling skills are essential.
