About the Role
In this role you will consult with leaders and employees, providing daily HR guidance and interfacing at all levels of the organization. You will understand business goals and recommend new policies and procedures to improve productivity and HR development, while analyzing trends and metrics to surface insights for leadership. The position requires resolving complex employee‑relations issues, improving work relationships, and delivering performance‑management support including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. You will also monitor workforce and succession planning, and lead or contribute to projects such as salary planning, policy development, training design, and workforce design. • Provide daily HR guidance and direction to leaders and employees at all organizational levels. • Recommend new policies and procedures aligned with business goals to improve productivity. • Analyze HR trends and metrics, sharing insights and opportunities with leadership. • Resolve complex employee‑relations issues and address grievances to improve morale. • Enhance work relationships, build morale, and increase retention through hands‑on engagement. • Offer performance‑management support, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning. • Lead or participate in projects such as salary planning, policy development, training design, and workforce planning. • Manage high‑volume workloads, multitask, and roll up sleeves for hands‑on execution. • Maintain full understanding of all HR functions, best practices, and labor legislation.

What You Bring
Freese and Nichols is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for its downtown Fort Worth, Texas corporate headquarters. The HRBP serves as a true business partner rather than a traditional HR Generalist, leveraging skills such as listening, questioning, political savvy, strategic thinking, agility, organizational development, and courage. Qualifications include at least five years of progressive HR experience, two years as an HR Business Partner, and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Candidates should possess thorough knowledge of labor law, HR best practices, strong written and verbal communication, analytical abilities, and the capacity to shift between strategic and tactical tasks. HR certifications are preferred. • Possess at least 5 years of progressive HR experience, 2+ years as an HR Business Partner, and a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; certifications preferred. • Leverage strong communication, analytical, and goal‑oriented skills to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.
