About the Role
The role involves performing preventive maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding major components on vehicles and equipment. The technician must provide accurate diagnoses and effective repairs or replacements, and be willing to travel and stay for extended periods within the service area. Key duties include maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards, using vehicle computer systems to interpret failures, estimating time and material costs, and requisitioning parts. The technician also inspects the quality of supplier repairs, assesses structural damage, conducts emergency service calls, and performs safety checks on vehicles, providing guidance to other maintenance personnel and assuming supervisory tasks when unsupervised. • Perform preventive maintenance inspections, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major vehicle/equipment components. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards. • Estimate time and material costs and requisition necessary parts. • Notify supervisor of additional work needs and adhere to Standard Repair Times. • Inspect quality of supplier repairs and assess structural damage for appropriate remediation. • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and conduct vehicle safety checks. • Provide guidance to maintenance personnel and may assume supervisory duties when unsupervised.

What You Bring
Candidates need at least four years of related experience, be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record. They must be legally authorized to work in the United States, pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical, and be able to meet the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodations. • Diagnose issues using vehicle computer electronics and conduct moderately complex repairs. • Require at least four years of relevant experience and a valid, clean‑record driver’s license. • Must be 18+ years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and pass drug screen and physical. • Ability to operate tools, use fleet maintenance software, and knowledge of Total Tire Maintenance Program. • Willingness to travel and obtain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for air travel.
