About the Role

• Select sheet‑metal types according to building or design plans • Measure, mark dimensions, and reference lines on metal sheets • Drill holes for screws, bolts, and rivets • Install and cut metal sheets with supportive frameworks • Fabricate or alter parts on‑site • Maneuver and anchor large sheet‑metal components • Fasten seams by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering • Set hangers and trim, fit, hang, and seal ductwork • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
