About the Role

• Increase Eaton’s market share within the UK telecom sector by expanding relationships with existing named clients and acquiring new ones. • Achieve or surpass UK telecom sales, orders, and standard profit percentage targets. • Support broader ES ROS target through strategic account management. • Acquire new telecom clients while developing existing customer relationships within your territory. • Lead customer engagement with agreed operators and integrators, growing pipeline and sales volume across Eaton’s telecom offerings. • Serve as primary contact and hold direct sales responsibility for Eaton’s Direct Current telecom solutions in the UK region for designated accounts. • Position Eaton’s telecom portfolio and brand within emerging technologies and market trends. • Act as a trusted advisor to key decision‑makers, building long‑term relationships that drive loyalty and mutual success. • Collaborate with Business Units and local sales teams to ensure timely responses to all technical and commercial correspondence from the region. • Drive specification of Eaton products within operator, reseller, installer, and integrator frameworks across your territory. • Lead technical solution discussions with senior consultants and operator technical leads. • Identify new market segment opportunities and develop business cases to support expansion. • Stay informed on competitor technologies, strategies, and pricing within your channel. • Engage clients early in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure new products meet annual sales quotas. • Submit monthly reports to your direct manager, including sales forecasts, product forecasts, and competitor activity updates.

What You Bring

• Maintain strong familiarity with Eaton’s full range of electrical products. • Degree qualification or equivalent with outstanding proven technical ability. • Five to ten years of relevant experience. • Direct Current technical solutions experience (preferred). • Solid understanding of and relationships with UK telecom operators and stakeholders. • Proactive “hunter” mindset, commercially driven and sales‑focused, with manufacturing experience and strong knowledge of UK telecom opportunities.
