About the Role
The Technician III role is responsible for operating and maintaining facility mechanical and supporting systems, performing inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and responding to on‑demand service requests. Work must follow established processes and comply with environmental, health, safety, and fire‑protection requirements. Key duties include troubleshooting equipment, monitoring facilities through walkthroughs, managing work‑order lifecycles in the maintenance database, and assisting with preventative‑maintenance programs. The technician also supports client satisfaction, participates in facility projects, maintains tools, and follows administrative procedures such as timely expense submission. • Provides observations about facility, mechanical and electrical equipment conditions and suggests enhancements or repairs.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma with trades training or certification, at least three years of experience on HVAC, pneumatic or hydraulic systems, and possess knowledge of building automation and HVAC systems. Strong safety mindset, client‑service orientation, communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians are required; a valid driver’s licence and willingness for shift, on‑call and emergency work are essential. Required licences include a Building Operator Certification or equivalent and a provincial HVAC or apprentice licence (e.g., Gasfitter I & II).
