About the Role

The position manages financial activities for IT services, projects, and portfolios, collaborating with executives and stakeholders to ensure transparency and health of the IT portfolio. It provides business and service analysis to guide investment decisions aligned with long‑range strategic plans, requiring strong knowledge of IT processes and costs. • Manage and document IT portfolio activities to support strategic cost management and advise CIO/VPs on funding new initiatives. • Monitor and track IT portfolio investments, ensuring enterprise visibility, budget alignment, cost analysis, and appropriate contract allocations. • Maintain relationships with IT, business unit, and finance partners; provide regular status reports, performance indicators, and risk‑opportunity updates. • Facilitate IT investment planning through monthly project authorization and long‑range planning, collaborating with cross‑functional teams. • Coordinate emergent initiatives and special assignments, sharing process expertise to drive continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness. • Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a positive team environment and delivering performance feedback.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, finance, accounting, or a related field, with 5‑12 years of relevant experience in IT financial forecasting and budgeting. They bring broad business‑process expertise, strong analytical judgment, independent work style, and excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership. A master’s degree and understanding of service‑level agreements are preferred. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, finance, accounting, or a related discipline. • Possess 5‑12 years of experience in IT financial forecasting, budgeting, and portfolio management. • Demonstrate broad business‑process expertise with deep knowledge of IT and finance processes. • Exhibit strong planning skills to deliver short‑ and long‑term IT business goals and strategy. • Work independently with minimal guidance and exercise strong judgment on IT cost drivers. • Communicate effectively with all management levels, including senior and executive leaders. • Earn a master’s degree in information technology, investment strategy, finance, or accounting. • Understand service‑level agreements and key contractual terms.
