About the Role

The Life Safety Service Sales Representative – Fire Sprinkler will expand the company’s fire sprinkler service business within an assigned territory, focusing on new construction and service contracts. • Represent Johnson Controls to promote and sell fire sprinkler service offerings within the assigned territory. • Establish contact with prospects, qualify potential buyers, and schedule sales calls using marketing strategies. • Determine customer needs and develop sales strategies to exceed sales plan objectives. • Read blueprints, apply NFPA 13 standards and local codes, and estimate small projects, including day‑works. • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, general contractors, and end users.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have sales experience in related industries and possess technical knowledge of sprinkler systems, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Minimum two years of sales experience in a similar industry; sprinkler design, estimating, and hydraulic calculation experience preferred. • Self‑motivated with a strong desire to succeed and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. • Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (2007 or later). • Ability to multitask, organize work, and collaborate as a team player.
