About the Role

The Cleanroom Sanitation Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of pharmaceutical production environments. This position cleans and sanitizes GMP‑controlled labs where medications are produced, following strict contamination control protocols and wearing appropriate PPE. The technician performs routine and periodic sanitization of cleanroom environments, including floors, surfaces, vents, ceilings, walls, and support spaces, using cleanroom‑rated equipment and approved disinfectants. They follow SOPs and Good Documentation Practices, complete electronic cleaning logs, rotate disinfectants per schedule, and manage inventory of supplies. Collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and GMP Operations teams ensures cleaning schedules align with production timelines. The role includes participating in training, adhering to EHS guidelines, reporting facility issues, supporting waste removal, and performing corrective cleaning for microbial excursions, with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime. • Perform routine and periodic cleanroom sanitization (floors, surfaces, ceilings, walls, vents) using cleanroom‑rated equipment and approved disinfectants. • Follow SOPs and Good Documentation Practices; complete and review electronic cleaning logs. • Manage inventory of sanitization supplies, gowning articles, and disinfectants. • Coordinate cleaning schedules with Manufacturing, Quality, and GMP Operations teams. • Participate in training on disinfectant use, equipment, and safety; adhere to EHS guidelines and wear full cleanroom PPE. • Report facility or equipment issues promptly and support waste removal in GMP areas. • Conduct corrective cleaning to address microbial contamination excursions. • Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Candidates must pass a background check and comply with cleanroom attire restrictions (no makeup, nail polish, or jewelry).
