Senior Drainage Engineer (Design)
Lead design of drainage and stormwater systems for civil/transport projects in Qatar.

About the Role
• Design civil and transport infrastructure drainage systems. • Perform detailed analysis and review of hydrological and hydraulic models. • Provide technical design expertise for drainage and stormwater quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse structures. • Promote a leading digital work environment and delivery culture. • Conduct hydraulic and system design to meet site‑specific requirements. • Introduce innovative ideas, technology, and value‑engineering solutions. • Supervise, mentor, and support intermediate and junior engineers. • Undertake hydrologic modeling, calculations, drawings, report writing, design review, and supervision. • Lead projects, build strong client relationships, and obtain design approvals. • Coordinate with CAD/BIM/3‑D modeling teams on projects.

What You Bring
• Apply knowledge of biological and physical processes of stormwater management. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Hydraulic and/or Environmental Engineering (Master’s in Water Engineering/Hydrology a plus). • Minimum 10 years water engineering experience, including stormwater drainage design in civil and transport projects. • At least 6 years UAE/GCC experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics principles. • Proficiency with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (SWMM, HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, Infoworks ICM 1D/2D). • Excellent GIS and CAD skills (ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation). • Ability to develop calculation sheets and perform advanced mathematics. • Knowledge of Water Sensitive Design and Sustainable Drainage Design (SuDS). • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills. • Collegiate team‑player attitude; Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualified or progressing. • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
