About the Role
Industrial Cleaning Operators are tasked with removing industrial waste from customer facilities using specialized equipment such as vacuum trucks and high‑pressure water systems. When not on a customer site or responding to emergency spills, they work at the company’s facility loading and off‑loading trucks, assisting with waste bulking, receiving, and transferring. The role involves operating a range of light and heavy cleanup equipment—including tankers, roll‑off containers, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, and sewer cleaners—while responding promptly to spills and emergencies. Operators also perform pre‑trip and post‑trip Department of Transportation inspections, maintain vehicle logs, and carry out general housekeeping and equipment maintenance. • Operate light and heavy cleanup equipment, including tankers, roll‑off trucks, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, and sewer cleaners. • Respond promptly to customer spills and emergency situations. • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip DOT inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs. • Conduct general housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and site upkeep. • Load, unload, bulk, receive, and transfer waste at the facility when not on customer sites. • Operate heavy and light equipment such as tanker, vacuum truck, forklift, and pallet‑jack. • Complete a 40‑hour HAZWOPER training program upon hire.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include the ability to safely operate heavy and light equipment such as tanker and vacuum trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks, as well as proficiency with hand and shop tools. Candidates must demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities; a valid driver’s license may be required for some positions. • Use hand and shop tools and measurement instruments proficiently. • Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and strong prioritization of multiple tasks. • Possess a valid driver’s license where required.
