About the Role
The HazMat Industrial Services Operator Driver/Technician is responsible for safely transporting various waste streams to generator sites, performing industrial waste clean‑up, and responding to hazardous and non‑hazardous spill emergencies in compliance with all regulations. Key duties include operating light and heavy equipment such as tanker trucks, roll‑offs, vacuum trucks, forklifts, and skid steers; responding to spills during and after business hours; completing DOT pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; maintaining vehicle logs and equipment housekeeping; and handling LTL pickups, full truck loads, manifests, and work orders. • Operate tanker, roll‑off, vacuum, box trucks, tractors, skid steers, forklifts, pumps, and pallet‑jacks for hazardous and non‑hazardous waste cleanup. • Respond to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours. • Conduct DOT pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs. • Perform LTL pickups and full‑truck loads, ensuring proper documentation of manifests and work orders. • Maintain equipment, perform site housekeeping, and support lab pack and field service projects. • Complete 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire. • Access health care and dependent care spending accounts.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications emphasize proficiency with heavy and light equipment, skilled use of hand and shop tools, and strong attention to detail, with a HazMat endorsement preferred. Minimum qualifications require a valid Class A commercial driver’s license and the ability to complete 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire. • Hold a valid Class A commercial driver’s license. • Demonstrate proficiency with heavy equipment, hand and shop tools, and strong attention to detail. • HazMat endorsement preferred.
