About the Role
The Production Supervisor plays a key role in efficiently producing commercial HVAC products, planning, coordinating, and controlling production activities while upholding the highest safety and quality standards in line with industry codes and best practices. The supervisor coordinates and directs team members, oversees quality control processes, enforces safety policies, and reviews production reports to identify areas for improvement, ensuring work is completed according to priority, budget, quality standards, and deadlines. Responsibilities also include managing inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment parts, providing training and cross‑training opportunities, identifying and developing potential leaders, evaluating employee performance, administering performance improvement plans, and maintaining a satisfactory attendance record while collaborating with other departments to streamline workflows. • Coordinate and direct production team activities. • Oversee quality control to ensure product standards. • Enforce safety policies and maintain a secure work environment. • Review production reports to identify improvement opportunities. • Manage inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment parts. • Provide training and cross‑training to enhance employee skills. • Identify and develop potential team leaders. • Evaluate employee performance and deliver feedback. • Implement performance improvement plans as needed. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably 3‑5 years of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Key skills include attending or conducting production meetings, building trust within the team, troubleshooting issues, strong organizational abilities, attention to quality detail, sound decision‑making, effective communication, and excellent interpersonal relationships. Required certifications include First Aid and CPR, as well as leadership training courses; some positions may also require RCRA (hazardous waste management), DOT, and 608 Universal Refrigerant certifications. The work environment demands the ability to lift up to 50 lb, perform climbing, stooping, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods, and tolerate varying extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic. • Require high school diploma or equivalent; 3‑5 years leadership experience preferred. • Demonstrate strong organizational, decision‑making, and quality‑focus skills. • Communicate effectively and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships. • Hold First Aid/CPR certification and completed leadership training. • May need RCRA, DOT, and 608 refrigerant certifications for specific roles. • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in varied manufacturing conditions.
