About the Role

The role focuses on coordinating material planning and supply chain activities within the Center of Excellence. The incumbent will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, manage supplier relationships, monitor performance metrics, and ensure efficient inventory and purchasing processes. • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to improve operational buyers’ roles within the CoE. • Communicate and coordinate with schedulers for planning and execution updates. • Work closely with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery of material to the plant. • Execute exception messages (postponement, anticipation, cancellation) and manage internal escalations. • Monitor internal team KPIs and develop action plans to mitigate risks and gaps. • Resolve internal discrepancies with operations and external issues with suppliers such as delivery, claims, and quality problems. • Coordinate with logistics partners and suppliers for material delivery according to incoterms. • Evaluate and monitor supply performance (SOTD) and work with suppliers and category managers on corrective/preventive actions. • Manage supplier invoices and support resolution of holds for timely payments. • Maintain inventory levels per objectives, collaborating with inventory analysts and network schedulers to optimize stock. • Coordinate with Supplier Quality and suppliers for RMA of defective parts and related reverse logistics. • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers, and CMs for phase‑in/out and ECN management. • Maintain purchasing data (price through SPIR policy, unit price changes, lead times, MOQ, MOV, sourcing) with Data Health and Commodity teams. • Utilize digital SCM tools to maximize efficiency. • Resolve DC/Plant put‑away issues.

What You Bring

Candidates should have 5‑7 years of experience in materials planning or supply chain management and hold a graduate degree, preferably a Master’s in materials, production, or operations management. Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are required, along with deep functional knowledge of replenishment planning, MRP, and inventory performance measures. • Understand material requirements and process requisitions to issue purchase orders to suppliers. • 5–7 years of relevant experience in materials planning/SCM. • Graduate with a Master’s degree, preferably in Materials, Production, or Operations Management; engineering degree preferred. • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders including senior management. • Strong functional knowledge and experience in materials management, replenishment planning, MRP, and inventory performance metrics such as forecasting accuracy and days on hand.
