About the Role
The role involves coordinating daily tasks, adjusting plans for weather or supply issues, conducting safety meetings, clarifying construction methods, delegating work, providing resources, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment while regularly reporting project status to supervisors. • Coordinate daily tasks and adjust for weather, supply, delivery, or personnel changes. • Conduct daily safety meetings at the start of each job activity. • Explain construction methods to crew members for daily tasks. • Delegate responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors. • Allocate resources and staffing to meet schedules, regulations, best practices, and safety requirements. • Emphasize safe use of tools and equipment and provide safety gear training. • Resolve conflicts or miscommunications promptly and amicably. • Report project status regularly to supervisors. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold good housekeeping practices. • Oversee and coordinate diverse personnel in various roles. • Read and interpret construction drawings and plans. • Apply quality building practices. • Identify problems quickly and solve them efficiently.

What You Bring
Candidates must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, the ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to oversee diverse crews. They should be proficient at reading drawings, understand legal and quality standards, quickly identify and resolve problems, be familiar with DOT specifications, and possess a high school diploma with at least four years of building‑trade experience. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Perform well under pressure. • Understand legal requirements for construction sites. • Familiarity with DOT specifications for roadway and MOT operations. • Hold a high school diploma (some college or trade school preferred) and at least four years of building‑trade experience.
