About the Role

You will serve as the owner’s representative, providing oversight and quality assurance for electrical construction across multiple commercial sites. Collaboration with project managers and stakeholders ensures that documentation, schedules, and client expectations are aligned throughout each construction phase. • Communicate overall project status to clients through discussions, presentations, and reports. • Manage site schedules, travel, client communications, and project budgets. • Engage with multiple stakeholder groups onsite while managing personal time effectively. • Travel 50‑75% across the United States to conduct site walks and Owner’s Rep services. • Inspect and oversee NETA vendor testing of low, medium (480 V), and high voltage electrical systems. • Assess power transformer test results such as Doble, TTR, and insulation resistance. • Supervise NETA testing of electro‑mechanical and solid‑state relays. • Verify cable test results (Tan Delta, power factor, VLF, DC Hipot) provided by vendors. • Create and maintain punch‑list items for onsite deficiencies. • Ensure onsite activities comply with client processes and procedures. • Oversee automatic transfer switch troubleshooting. • Conduct relay calibration and power metering. • Attend customer sites promptly as required. • Identify onsite deficiencies and energization blockers, recommend resolutions, and determine root causes. • Work with NETA‑qualified testing vendors and evaluate pass/fail test results. • Perform functional testing of medium‑voltage relays and related infrastructure. • Coordinate small‑team onsite activities during outages for maintenance or power upgrades. • Develop and present findings to public or private entities.

What You Bring

• Apply experience with low, medium, and high voltage switchgear and circuit breakers. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Possess 5+ years of field electrical maintenance experience in EPC or similar commercial projects. • Utilize Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Adobe/Bluebeam, and Smartsheet proficiently. • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Benefits

Compensation for California candidates ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, with base pay adjusted for experience, knowledge, and location, and may include restricted stock units.
