About the Role
Responsible for a wide range of skills including wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly or wiring required for test preparation and final inspection, and use established power‑checking procedures and equipment to verify the electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled. All assignments must meet quantity and quality requirements and be carried out from oral or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information. Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes, and keep jobs progressing while communicating any problem areas or parts shortages. Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures, performing 5‑S duties to keep equipment, tools, and the work area clean and orderly. • Wire, assemble, fit, and mount subassemblies and components in electrical control equipment. • Prepare assemblies for testing and conduct final inspections. • Verify electrical/mechanical integrity using power‑checking procedures. • Follow oral/written instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation. • Inspect and test finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and codes. • Monitor job progress and report part shortages or issues. • Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.
