About the Role

The Property Manager (CRE) is responsible for managing a property or portfolio of properties on behalf of a client, ensuring compliance with the management agreement and delivering high‑quality service. • Manage all lease administration duties. • Monitor rent collections and coordinate default proceedings. • Ensure compliance with property management policies, codes, regulations, and governmental directives. • Lead property staff through hiring, performance management, and day‑to‑day supervision. • Develop and execute comprehensive inspection processes (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) per asset, best practices, and client requirements. • Prepare operating and capital budgets, track variances, oversee CAM reconciliations, and manage recovery processes. • Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts in line with company or client requirements. • Accurately abstract leases using lease administration software. • Coordinate with third‑party owners and accounting teams to ensure contract compliance and timely reporting. • Oversee tenant and building construction projects to ensure timely, accurate completion. • Participate in leasing and client meetings, facilitating communication between leasing and property management teams. • Foster positive relationships with tenants, external clients, and internal stakeholders.

What You Bring

The role prefers a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field and requires a minimum of three years of real estate property management or related experience. The position operates in a professional office setting with standard equipment and involves regular travel between properties, often in varying weather conditions. Employees may need to move between floors, climb stairs, and remain seated or standing for the majority of the time. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Effective problem solving and analytical abilities. • Proven leadership capabilities. • Excellent time management. • Customer‑focused approach for internal and external clients. • Solid financial acumen. • CPM, RPA, or CSM designation (or in process). • Real‑estate license. • Strong knowledge of finance and building operations. • Ability to analyze, prioritize, and delegate tasks. • Experience managing teams of employees and vendors. • Experience analyzing and negotiating commercial lease or contract language. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
