About the Role

The incumbent will lead the implementation of the HSE Management System, monitor safety standards, organize training and emergency response plans, and coordinate with authorities. Additional duties include preparing the annual HSE plan and budget, driving risk reduction programs, and overseeing compliance with fire safety and loss‑prevention measures. • Achieve Zero SIF, carbon neutrality, and zero‑harm, zero‑pedestrian, zero‑spill facility. • Lead implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System. • Monitor safety standards, respond to emergencies, and provide HSE guidance. • Organize OHSE committee meetings, safety inductions, fire prevention and emergency response training. • Advise BUH on training status, operator suitability, and safety improvement needs. • Develop emergency response procedures and conduct hazardous material training. • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, trend analysis, and corrective actions. • Conduct risk assessments, enforce safe work practices, and drive continuous risk reduction. • Perform HSE training needs analysis, deliver training, and keep training records. • Ensure audits, assessment programs, and engagement initiatives are current. • Carry out safety inspections, report hazards, and implement improvement actions. • Validate emergency preparedness through regular mock drills. • Analyze HSE data for continual improvement of safety performance. • Ensure fire safety compliance and implement loss‑prevention techniques. • Organize HSE promotional events, safety awards, and toolbox talks. • Coordinate with local authorities during emergencies. • Prepare and quarterly review the HSE plan and budget. • Implement GHSE fatal‑risk reduction programs and escalate unresolved safety issues. • Maintain records of observations, corrective actions, and toolbox talks. • Monitor terminal operations for unsafe acts, verify corrective actions, and oversee contractor safety compliance. • Lead incident investigations and conduct training per identified needs.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a safety‑related diploma or degree, have 5‑6 years of safety experience (including 2‑3 years in manufacturing, terminal or logistics), and be proficient in English, Hindi, and the local language. Strong communication, computer skills, and knowledge of warehousing safety are required. • Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH; or B.Tech/M.Tech/B.Sc/E.I.G.C. in related field. • Minimum 5–6 years of safety experience, with 2–3 years in manufacturing/terminal/logistics operations. • Knowledge of warehousing safety and environmental requirements. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, presentation skills, and strong communication. • Fluent in English, Hindi, and the local language.
