About the Role

Duties are performed under the direct supervision of the Molding Supervisor and involve setting up CTs to be encapsulated. This includes preparing CTs, preparing molds, and pouring epoxy to required specifications while working on new and special designs. The role requires a general understanding of measurement devices and adherence to safety and PPE requirements when handling industrial chemicals such as epoxies, RTV, and mold release agents. A typical day includes collaborating with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency, and understanding the Meramec lead installation procedure. The employee must ensure all products meet the highest quality standards and follow all safety, ISO, and OSHA guidelines. Responsibilities also cover operating and maintaining molding equipment, keeping work areas clean and organized, and correctly using standard and metric measuring devices. Prioritizing work to meet deadlines and safely operating a hoist are essential. • Set up and encapsulate CTs by prepping components and pouring epoxy to specifications. • Prepare molds and work on new or special design projects. • Use standard and metric measurement devices according to core specification sheets. • Handle industrial chemicals (epoxies, RTV, mold release agents) following safety and PPE protocols. • Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. • Follow the Meramec lead installation procedure accurately. • Ensure all products meet highest quality standards. • Adhere to safety, ISO, and OSHA requirements at all times. • Operate and maintain molding equipment and related documentation. • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines. • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet production deadlines. • Operate a hoist safely and correctly. • Foster teamwork and maintain good communication with peers. • Apply basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills in daily tasks.
