About the Role
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment (air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, water heaters, ductwork). • Clean and service HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, recommending solutions. • Participate in classroom and field apprenticeship training on technical skills, safety, and industry standards. • Apply workplace safety protocols and comply with industry regulations. • Provide overtime support to meet customer expectations. • Participate in employee stock purchase program.

What You Bring
The HVAC Apprentice role provides hands‑on experience in installing and repairing heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems under the guidance of seasoned technicians. The position emphasizes mechanical problem‑solving, effective communication, teamwork, safety, and adaptability to new technologies, with occasional overtime to meet customer expectations. Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and an active Maryland State HVAC Apprenticeship license. Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited vocational program or at least one year of documented field experience, progress toward a Journeyman license, and CFC Certification Types I and II. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and an active Maryland State HVAC Apprenticeship license. • Preferred: Graduate from an accredited vocational school or have at least one year of documented field experience under a licensed Master technician. • Preferred: Possess CFC Certification Types I and II and documented hours toward a Journeyman license.
