About the Role

Provides shipping and receiving to support projects, maintains inventory control, operates warehouse equipment, and participates in warehouse maintenance and cleaning. The work is performed with a high degree of independence. The employee receives, stores, and issues materials and supplies to project sites, loads and unloads equipment, and ensures the warehouse remains orderly and safe. Duties include reading work orders, opening containers, moving materials by hand or using equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and cranes, and documenting quantities moved. • Receive, store, and issue materials and supplies to project sites. • Load and unload supplies, place items on shelves, and maintain an orderly, safe warehouse (including ladder use). • Move materials within plant, yard, or work site. • Read work orders or follow oral instructions to identify items to move. • Open containers with appropriate hand tools. • Load/unload materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. • Load materials into vehicles and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding. • Transport materials using hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, forklifts, or similar devices. • Attach lifting devices and convey loads via cranes, hoists, or signal operators. • Count, weigh, and record material quantities on daily production sheets. • Tag or label materials and mark containers as needed. • Bundle and band materials using a banding machine and clincher. • Clamp or position conveyor sections for transport. • Lift heavy objects manually or with a power hoist; clean work area and equipment. • Assemble crates from pre‑cut lumber to ship products. • Shovel loose materials (e.g., gravel, metal, plastic, chemicals) into containers. • Occasionally operate a forklift, truck, or electric hoist. • Observe and follow all safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 60 lb, pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screen, and have 0‑2 years of related experience. Ability to work outdoors and comply with safety rules is essential.
