About the Role
The Senior Roadway Project Manager will work closely with talented engineers on some of the region’s largest highway projects, primarily in North Carolina. The role involves partnering with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver complex designs for major clients. • Design highway/roadway projects independently and within a design team. • Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. • Prepare design plans, specifications, and quantity take‑offs. • Review calculations and design elements for highway projects. • Develop pre‑construction cost estimates. • Assist in preparing project proposals. • Attend client meetings alongside the project team. • Coordinate various design tasks across disciplines. • Communicate effectively with design teams, clients and agencies.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. • Possess a North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Bring 10–15 years of highway and local street design experience. • Understand North Carolina Department of Transportation practices, standards and documentation. • Proficient in MicroStation, GeoPak, Bentley ORD and Microsoft Office. • Demonstrate strong decision‑making, quality focus and attention to detail.
