• Perform preventative maintenance checks on all floor‑care equipment before use. • Secure work areas and post safety notices prior to cleaning. • Clean walls, dust high and low surfaces, and maintain restrooms, offices, and break rooms. • Operate high‑speed buffers, extractors, wet vacuums, pressure washers, and auto‑scrubbers.

What You Bring
The technician must adhere to safety rules, company policies, and maintain a clean work area while collaborating with a team. Professional communication with supervisors, coworkers, managers and customers, as well as a professional appearance and proper use of personal protective equipment, are required. Candidates should hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of floor‑care experience, including familiarity with equipment such as buffers and extractors. Strong customer‑service skills and a team‑oriented attitude are essential. The position involves standing, walking, repetitive motions and the ability to lift and move moderate loads under time‑critical conditions. Employees work in a fast‑paced environment and must be able to respond to shifting priorities. • Strip, wax, buff, burnish, and mop (dry and damp) hard‑surface floors and stairwells. • Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpets, stairwells, and upholstery.

Velociti is hiring a Floor Technician in Pima County at $16.00 per hour. The schedule runs Monday‑Friday evenings, beginning at 4 pm and ending when tasks are completed.
