About the Role
The primary function of the role is to ensure the integrity and functionality of low‑voltage electrical assemblies by performing thorough testing, diagnosing issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, supporting Eaton’s mission to improve quality of life and the environment through power management technologies. • Inspect and electrically test low‑voltage products per work instructions and government requirements, documenting results. • Perform final and in‑process inspections across multiple product lines to ensure quality. • Test low‑voltage assemblies for premium data‑center customers using program controllers and functional test scripts. • Conduct primary and secondary injection tests and verify switches, circuit breakers, and torqued connections with Hi‑Pot, continuity and torque tools. • Audit mechanical and electrical assemblies and follow Universal Voltage Cart procedures. • Apply strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuit design, and relevant UL, NEC, and regional codes. • Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing drawings.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least one year of electrical testing experience, and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preference is given to applicants with two or more years in a quality or electrical tester position, experience with low‑voltage assemblies, computer literacy, and knowledge of Lean concepts. The position is located in El Paso, TX; only applicants within a 50‑mile radius will be considered, and no relocation assistance is provided. • Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team, demonstrating attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. • Possess basic electricity knowledge, current flow understanding, and component functionality. • Meet basic qualifications: high school diploma/GED, ≥1 year electrical testing experience, and U.S. work authorization. • Preferred: ≥2 years quality/electrical tester experience, low‑voltage assembly background, computer literacy, and Lean concepts.
