About the Role

The Project Manager role delivers projects across capital water infrastructure, including valves, hydrants, pump stations, network renewals, and water main replacements within the Unity Water Program. The position oversees the delivery phase while collaborating with design, scheduling, cost, commissioning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth transitions and project success. • Manage, coordinate and deliver complex projects of varying size and scope. • Foster a culture of innovation, mentor team members, and uphold Downer Standard and Zero Harm. • Support budget management, collaborate with Senior Project Manager to optimise cost, improve processes, and ensure accurate reporting and forecasting. • Assist procurement by implementing the Procurement Management Plan and engaging subcontractors and suppliers. • Build strong relationships with design teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal project delivery. • Provide a vehicle for work purposes. • Maintain a safety‑focused culture with management support, ongoing training, and mentoring.

What You Bring

• Engineering qualification with extensive experience managing civil projects on capital infrastructure. • Project Management certification and RPEQ (or willingness to obtain). • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic contracting, service‑oriented environment. • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Analytical, planning/prioritisation, financial planning and budgeting expertise.
