QAQC Engineer (Infrastructure)

About the Role

You will develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols for construction projects, and conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with specifications and standards. Material, equipment, and workmanship will be reviewed and approved to meet quality requirements, while coordinating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues. Comprehensive documentation of QA/QC activities, including reports and records, will be prepared and maintained. What You Bring

Parsons is seeking a talented and dedicated QA/QC Engineer for an infrastructure project in Al Quaa, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality and excellence, has a keen eye for detail, and takes a proactive approach to problem‑solving. The role involves collaborating with diverse teams to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and possess at least five years of extensive QA/QC experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards, as well as familiarity with ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM or similar quality management systems, is required. Proficiency with QA/QC software tools, excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced collaborative environment are essential. Professional certification in QA/QC is preferred. Additional strengths include strong analytical capabilities, the ability to work independently, and effective oral and written communication. Clear logical communication with management and staff, physical capability for field work, and a steadfast commitment to safe work practices are also valued. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • Possess at least 5 years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects. • Demonstrate knowledge of construction materials, methods, standards, and ISO 9000/ASME/ANSI/ASTM quality systems. • Proficient with QA/QC software tools and possess strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Professional certification in QA/QC or a related discipline is preferred. • Show strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently. • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing with management and staff. • Capable of performing physical field work and committed to safe work practices.
