About the Role

The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by collecting media for residential listings. Photographers work in a designated territory using a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital camera gear, and an iPad to create virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photographs. Each associate is managed remotely by a local Photography Manager and coordinates appointments with clients and internal teams. Key duties include scanning homes and apartments to generate 3‑D virtual tours, capturing high‑quality photos for marketing, and maximizing appointment efficiency through collaboration with scheduling and dispatch. Photographers also navigate one‑mile grids to gather commercial‑real‑estate data, identify missing inventory, and ensure comprehensive coverage. Professional communication with clients, sales staff, researchers, and management is essential for prioritizing tasks and meeting client expectations. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floor‑plans using Matterport Pro 3 cameras. • Produce high‑quality residential photography for Homes.com and Apartments.com listings. • Manage scheduled appointments and coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams. • Conduct commercial real‑estate data collection by surveying one‑mile grids. • Adhere to CoStar safety standards and represent the company professionally. • Meet physical demands: sit, stand, walk up to 8 hours daily and lift equipment up to 5 lb. • Participate in internal training, diversity & inclusion resource groups, and inter‑office exchange program.

What You Bring

The position requires frequent sitting in a vehicle, standing, and walking for up to eight hours daily, as well as lifting equipment weighing up to five pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements are needed for operating camera gear and typing on a tablet or laptop, with occasional bending, stooping, and twisting. Applicants must have at least two years of professional real‑estate photography experience and a recent degree or work history in photography. A FAA Part 107 drone pilot license is required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Strong time‑management, attention to detail, data‑entry accuracy, and excellent written and oral communication are essential. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, pass a driving‑record check, and be able to work weekends on a rotating schedule. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management. • Hold at least 2 years of professional real‑estate photography experience. • Possess an FAA Part 107 drone pilot license (or obtain within 30 days of hire). • Demonstrate strong time‑management, attention to detail, and accurate data entry. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
