About the Role
As a Cleaner on the BGIS Sustainable Cleaning Solutions team, you will maintain a designated zone, emphasizing quality control, health and safety, and exceeding client expectations. • Sweep, vacuum, and dry/wet mop hard‑surface floors, using handheld, walk‑behind, or automatic equipment. • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors manually or with power tools as needed. • Clean glass areas, washroom floors, stairwells, and elevator cabs, employing ladders or scaffolding when required. • Operate, clean, and store cleaning machinery; transport garbage and maintenance equipment between locations. • Mix and apply chemical cleaners in accordance with WHMIS and safety protocols. • Report major repairs or building system issues to management. • Lift or move items up to 25 lb, climb ladders, and work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts across multiple sites. • Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, clients, and the public while keeping accurate manual and electronic records.

What You Bring
• Steam clean or shampoo carpets and perform snow removal from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas. • Hold a valid Class G driver’s license and meet any required security‑clearance standards.

Benefits
This is a regular, part‑time role with a salary of $17.60‑$20.88 per hour, based on experience and performance.
