Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers work independently at multiple locations, both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and handling payment reminders and collection calls. • Assess customer storage needs and recommend solutions, including selling packing supplies. • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to ensure availability. • Audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and manage payment reminders/collections. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and walk/stand outdoors up to 50 % of shift, including stairs and large doors. • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks (sweeping, mopping, exterior upkeep).

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to spend up to 50 % of the time walking around facilities, including outdoor environments, climbing stairs and opening large doors. Cleaning and routine maintenance such as sweeping, mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior curb appeal are also expected. Successful candidates typically have experience in customer‑service‑focused sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or fast‑food operations. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required; mileage reimbursement is provided.
