About the Role

As the Southeast Maritime & Coastal business expands, we seek a Project Manager to serve as Contract Manager for GHD’s USACE Savannah District Civil Works IDIQ contract. You will lead the pursuit, capture, and execution of task orders, shape winning strategies, and be accountable for project quality, safety, schedule, scope, and budget while maintaining proactive communication with clients and internal teams. • Lead pursuit, capture, and execution of IDIQ task orders, shaping winning strategies. • Manage project quality, safety, schedule, scope, and budget to ensure disciplined execution. • Develop and implement execution plans for multi‑discipline teams. • Oversee financial forecasting, invoicing, change management, and cost estimating. • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; develop recovery plans. • Negotiate and manage project resource budgets, forecast utilization, and report variances. • Clarify roles and ensure compliance with program and portfolio management processes. • Lead governance and delivery of significant project portfolios using appropriate PM methodology. • Direct large project teams, set vision, allocate resources, and mentor staff members. • Act as subject‑matter expert, maintain certifications, and stay current on regulations and best practices. • Develop and track business benefit realization plans to maximize outcomes. • Conduct enterprise business analysis to recommend solutions to business problems. • Lead scope definition, stakeholder consultation, and delivery of program deliverables. • Create and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to build supportive relationships.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor or Master degree in engineering (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical) or architecture. • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; PMP certification is a plus. • Minimum of 10 years project management experience, including work with the US Department of Defense. • Established relationships with USACE Savannah District personnel and deep understanding of their programs. • Excellent written and oral communication skills; proven ability to mentor and lead technical staff. • Willingness to travel to project sites and client offices as needed. • Experience with Design/Build project delivery desirable; mentor junior maritime and coastal staff.
