About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will lead, develop, and motivate the project management team, overseeing large renewable projects to ensure efficient execution, timely completion, and client satisfaction. The role requires leveraging extensive industry knowledge and leadership skills to coach, mentor, and collaborate with team members, internal departments, and external clients. Supervisory responsibilities include directing the account management function, establishing short‑ and long‑term client relationship strategies, setting team objectives, and implementing data collection processes to monitor account health. The manager will hire and manage project management staff, coordinate deliverables with project managers and proposals coordinators, and report progress to the executive team. Key duties involve market profit‑and‑loss oversight, collaborating with leadership to set long‑range goals, working with marketing to assess new client potential, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. The manager must be dynamic, responsive to client needs, and support the team in upholding RRC’s core values. • Lead and oversee large utility‑scale renewable energy projects across the U.S., ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and client satisfaction. • Direct the account management function, develop client relationship strategies, and generate new business growth. • Set team objectives, monitor project health, and implement action plans to resolve issues. • Coach, mentor, and hire Project Management staff while fostering RRC core values. • Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate proposals, prioritize projects, and communicate risks and opportunities. • Manage market profit and loss, work with marketing to assess new client potential, and oversee project schedules and budgets.

What You Bring

Required skills include excellent written and verbal communication, strong business development acumen, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project. Candidates should have a minimum of ten years leading multidisciplinary engineering or construction teams for renewable‑energy power generation, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and preferably PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications. • Possess 10+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or construction teams for renewable energy projects. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering Management, or a related field; PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications highly desirable. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, business development acumen, analytical and problem‑solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Project. • Travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays.
