About the Role

• Manage the Estate Upkeep team to deliver trades work and estate maintenance on Defence sites. • Capture KPI and performance metrics for Estate Upkeep work. • Provide asset condition data. • Ensure all work complies with required standards and requirements. • Identify and manage risks associated with work delivery.

What You Bring

We are inviting applications to join our permanent workforce at RAAF Williamtown as a Leading Hand – Estate Upkeep. The role starts in February 2026 and is open to candidates with Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors, all within a workplace that values respect, empowerment and inclusion. • Hold a Trade Certificate (Carpentry, Plumbing, or Electrical) and a relevant QLD/NSW trade licence. • Possess general trade experience together with leadership and maintenance supervision skills. • Demonstrate working knowledge of asset compliance and management techniques. • (Desirable) Have a Building Maintenance Leadership Certification. • Maintain a current open driver’s licence. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
