About the Role
Key responsibilities include producing credible plans that meet customer demand while accounting for inventory, logistics and storage; ensuring pre‑production activities generate accurate data for robust supply plans; collaborating with the supply chain to manage order books and balance business priorities; monitoring load and capacity factors and proposing mitigations; optimising inventory across the value stream to reduce delivery risk and cost; providing clear answers to Sales and Operation Planning questions via the Demand Management process; contributing to business and operational reviews to identify risks and define mitigation actions; and operating in line with Rolls‑Royce policies, procedures and RRMS compliance. • Produce credible plans that meet customer demand while considering inventory, logistics and storage. • Ensure pre‑production data accuracy to maintain robust supply plans. • Collaborate with supply chain partners to manage order books and balance business priorities. • Monitor load and capacity factors and propose mitigations to support delivery commitments. • Optimise inventory across the value stream to minimise delivery risk and cost. • Provide accurate answers to Sales and Operation Planning queries via Demand Management. • Contribute to business and operational reviews, identify risks and define mitigation actions. • Adhere to Rolls‑Royce policies, procedures and RRMS compliance.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will hold a degree or relevant professional qualification such as APICS, and have proven experience in supply chain planning and control. They must understand load and capacity management, be able to make balanced delivery decisions under challenging circumstances, and be familiar with manufacturing, purchasing, NPI and quality functions. Experience with MRP/ERP systems and the ability to influence others are also required. Core functional skills for the role cover planning – understanding business forecasts and using planning tools to support customer requirements; execution – knowledge of roles, responsibilities and constraints that enable planning decisions; compliance – awareness of policies, procedures and systems and the impact of non‑compliance; inventory – understanding inventory levels, causes and mitigations; and operations – insight into business operational challenges, constraints and inter‑dependencies. • Hold a degree or relevant professional qualification (e.g., APICS). • Demonstrate proven experience in supply chain planning and control. • Possess knowledge of load and capacity management and balanced decision‑making under pressure. • Familiarity with manufacturing, purchasing, NPI and quality functions. • Experience with MRP/ERP systems and ability to influence stakeholders.
