About the Role

The Senior MEP Engineer role calls for a highly talented professional to join the team and lead complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design efforts. This position involves using advanced CAD tools, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver coordinated design systems. • Prepare complex layout and design drawings using CAD workstations and advanced software. • Ensure designs conform to applicable standards, codes, and company policies. • Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to produce coordinated, accurate system designs. • Develop alternate design layouts and meet layout requirements. • Verify compliance with safety factors, tolerances, and specifications. • Review supplier data and manufacturer drawings as needed. • Check orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others. • Perform discipline-specific checking procedures assigned by supervisor. • Mentor and train lower‑level designers on technical procedures.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold an associate’s degree or a two‑year technical degree (or equivalent) and bring at least eight years of relevant experience. Additional certification from an accredited designer or drafter program is preferred, as is a strong grasp of design codes and company policies. • Hold an associate’s degree or 2‑year technical degree (or equivalent) preferred. • Bring 8+ years of relevant MEP engineering experience. • Possess certification from an accredited designer/drafter program preferred. • Demonstrate ability to interpret and apply design standards and codes.
