Wash Line Operator

About the Role

The Polymer Center Wash Line Operator is responsible for overseeing the grinding and wash line processes at the Polymer Center, ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards while maintaining a solid working knowledge of the equipment and performing basic troubleshooting. In this role, the operator actively eliminates hazards, follows the shift manufacturing plan, conducts thorough equipment inspections, monitors production quality and waste streams, and performs minor maintenance while documenting any issues and reporting needed repairs. They also uphold all safety policies, act as a positive company representative, support operational goals, collaborate with maintenance for equipment quality, foster a teamwork-oriented environment, and handle additional duties as required. • Remove unsafe conditions from grinding and wash line processes. • Execute the grinding and wash line manufacturing plan for the shift. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation equipment inspections according to policy. • Operate grinding and washing equipment safely and efficiently. • Monitor production and waste for unacceptable product or waste. • Monitor equipment condition to minimize downtime. • Perform and document minor equipment service; refer complex issues to leads or maintenance. • Complete equipment condition reports and notify supervisor of needed repairs. • Follow all required safety policies and procedures. • Represent the company positively to enhance customer satisfaction. • Implement operational plans to meet or exceed budgeted goals. • Support product delivery while aiding maintenance and equipment quality. • Create a collaborative team environment and drive employee engagement. • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and honesty. • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in manufacturing or recycling and demonstrate strong customer‑service skills, effective time management, and reliable follow‑through, all delivered with professionalism and integrity. • Demonstrate strong follow‑through and adherence to work schedules. • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or recycling experience.
