CDL Driver - Swing/Residential
Operate heavy-duty truck for swing routes, handling waste containers.
Job Highlights
About the Role
Key duties include complying with OSHA, DOT and company safety standards, completing pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, and collaborating with route managers to improve efficiency. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR inspections and document any issues. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Route Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Participate in required trainings, briefings and meetings. • Assist other drivers and follow route assignments as directed by Dispatch. • Dump containers, keep customer sites clean, and reposition containers properly. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Maintain accurate documentation and check‑in at the end of each route. • Meet physical demands including lifting, pushing, pulling and sustained standing or walking.

What You Bring
The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty commercial truck on swing routes, navigating residential, commercial and construction environments. Drivers must hold a Class B CDL with at least two years of relevant experience or recent military driving experience, be at least 18 years old, and be legally eligible to work in the United States; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. The role requires physical abilities such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling objects, and the ability to sit, talk and hear throughout the workday.
