About the Role
The position blends practical fieldwork with office‑based engineering, allowing the incumbent to manage the full spectrum of marine and waterfront inspections as well as engineering design projects from investigation through documentation. • Conduct marine/waterfront site investigations and inspections. • Assess deterioration, analyze damaged components, and evaluate remaining capacities. • Prepare sketches, design plans, cost estimates, and technical reports. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and gather project information. • Assist in drafting contract documents and technical specifications.

What You Bring
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a versatile Marine/Waterfront Engineer to join the Civil and Marine Division of its NJ Structural Team, which is expanding and looking for an innovative engineer eager to learn and grow with the company. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil or marine engineering, have at least three years of relevant experience, and possess OSHA‑compliant commercial dive training along with EIT certification; a PE license is preferred. • Hold a B.S. in civil or marine engineering with 3+ years experience. • Possess OSHA‑compliant commercial dive training and EIT certification; PE preferred. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

The role offers a compensation range of $110,000 to $150,000 annually, dependent on qualifications.
