About the Role

The role assists the Project Engineer, serving as the technical source of information for the project and handling drawings, specifications, shop drawings, change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes, and submittals while maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. It offers three career steps—Entry (Step I), experienced (Step II), and Senior—based on years of experience and project complexity. • Assist Project Engineer with developing/maintaining as‑built drawings, submittals, change orders, RFIs and budget forecasts. • Support and execute the Project Management Plan and change management process. • Administer the project quality management plan and promote a safety‑first culture. • Calculate daily production rates, unit costs and participate in risk management. • Oversee BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers. • Document and submit LEED certification packages and update digital record drawings. • Provide site lines, grades, layout and maintain organized log books. • Track weekly quantities, maintain quantity logs and assist with budgeting and cost control. • Support superintendents, resolve field problems and facilitate project execution. • Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with stakeholders. • Occasionally climb stairs or ladders and lift/push/pull objects. • Use telephone, computer, email and other electronic devices to communicate. • Remain compliant with all safety standards and procedures.

The position is classified as safety‑sensitive, requiring adherence to safety standards, use of personal protective equipment, and awareness of tasks that could affect the safety and health of workers or others. • Four‑year construction‑related degree or equivalent technical/field experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, hard hat, etc.). • Frequently reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, bend and use hands to handle objects.
