About the Role

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify requirements • Calculate electrical construction costs based on documents and site conditions • Consult with clients, vendors, and internal teams to formulate estimates and resolve issues • Attend site walk‑throughs to assess field conditions impacting bids or designs • Prepare bid documents, including scope letters, adjustments for buy‑outs, labor rates, and productivity • Deliver accurate, detailed, and competitive estimates • Participate in a 401(k) plan with an 8% employer match

What You Bring

The company is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for its Houston office. The estimator will review project documentation, calculate construction costs, collaborate with clients and vendors, and produce accurate, competitive bid proposals. Candidates must have a strong electrical background, relevant experience, and proficiency with estimation software such as Accubid and AutoCAD. • Hold a high school diploma with an Electrical Apprenticeship or a bachelor’s degree in construction management • Bring 4+ years of experience on commercial, industrial, and service projects • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of electrical materials, construction methods, NEC, and local codes • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Accubid, and AutoCAD • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills and an outgoing personality
