About the Role
The Assembler II role focuses on assisting welders in the Cable Tray department, assembling and stacking/banding cable tray ladders, and handling materials and parts up to 50 lb throughout the shift. • Perform simple repetitive assembly of parts using bolts, screws, hand tools, clips, and other fasteners. • Follow models, samples, or diagrams under close supervision to assemble components. • Handle and lift 50‑lb parts to support large‑part construction. • Maintain 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) on shop floor and office areas. • Track and sustain visual management tools such as layered audits, OEE boards, and other LEAN tools. • Participate actively in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives. • Stand continuously during shift and wear required personal protective equipment. • Lift 50‑lb materials with or without reasonable accommodation.
