About the Role
KBR’s National Security Solutions team delivers high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to intelligence and national security customers. In this role, you will help protect the nation’s most critical assets. We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts for government programs in Chantilly, VA. The position is contingent upon contract award and focuses on mission and system modeling. Beware of fraud attempts that misuse KBR’s name to solicit personal information or payment. KBR never asks for advance payments during the recruiting process, and candidate profiles are protected. • Develop descriptive mission and system models • Integrate MBSE tools to support trade studies using COTS APIs and custom integrations • Conduct analysis of alternatives evaluations of mission and system models • Track mission measures of effectiveness and system technical performance measures • Trace analysis models and results to enterprise tools, change requests, engineering review board, concept of operations, architecture development, risks, schedule, and verification, validation, & test

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, math, computer science, or related technical field • Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology • Intermediate knowledge of System Modeling Language (SysML) • Object‑Oriented Design and Analysis experience in system model development or programming • Understanding of systems engineering and model‑based methodologies • Experience with Cameo, SparxEA, or Rhapsody tool suites • Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python • Knowledge of engineering analysis and simulation tools (e.g., ModelCenter, STK, Mathematica, Modelica, SciPy, Scikit‑Learn) • Familiarity with multi‑domain analysis, optimization techniques, and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) • Experience developing executable systems models (OMG‑Certified Systems Modeling Professional or equivalent) • Experience working in an Agile development environment • DoD and/or IC security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph required
