About the Role

The Lean Improvement Leader drives performance and operational excellence across the Solihull site, aligning improvement activities with the company’s strategic goals. They work with cross‑functional teams to embed lean practices and achieve measurable gains in safety, quality, cost, delivery and people performance. • Set ambitious vision for safety, quality, cost, delivery and people performance. • Champion Hoshin Kanri strategic deployment and develop associated improvement plans. • Coach and mentor cross‑functional teams to apply lean tools and deliver high‑impact projects. • Identify improvement opportunities using analytical tools and prioritize the best solutions. • Lead flagship “lighthouse” projects to achieve target performance gains. • Build lean capability across all levels through training and coaching initiatives. • Advance the maturity of the Rolls‑Royce Production System with cross‑functional collaboration. • Guide business leaders in lean behaviours to engage employees in ongoing improvement.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Lean Improvement Leader for our Solihull site. The role is central to driving internal performance improvements and operational excellence as we meet ambitious growth challenges. Successful candidates will have a strong background in lean manufacturing or process improvement, relevant certifications and a proven record of delivering measurable results. Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, excellent influencing and communication skills, and the ability to work in a multinational, multicultural environment are essential. • Demonstrate extensive experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement with relevant certification. • Proven track record of delivering tangible improvements using lean tools and techniques. • Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills, able to work without direct authority in a multinational environment.
