About the Role

The Framer 2 is responsible for manufacturing round-stock products to established specifications in a productive, efficient, and safe manner. This role involves operating framing tools, preparing poles for treatment, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. • Inspect and verify round stock quality against ANSI, ASTM, or corporate standards • Operate hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gauge, brand, tag, clean, and prepare poles for treatment • Document and report processed material • Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work area • Assist in inspection of round stock products • Assist in material receipt, tallying, identification, and record keeping • Operate full‑length and deep incisor machines as needed • Run pole tag machine to produce aluminum tags • Participate in and contribute to the company safety program

What You Bring

During the initial 90-day probationary period, the employee is classified as a Framer 3 while completing training. Successful completion leads to reclassification as a Framer 2 once proficiency is demonstrated. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have at least three months of experience framing wood products.
