About the Role
• Load, unload, sort, and transport materials. • Move materials to and from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks, storage bins, and other areas. • Operate controls to drive the truck and manipulate the lifting apparatus. • Position forks or lifting platforms under pallets, skids, boxes, and transport loads to designated areas. • Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device. • Participate in physical inventories. • Assist in moving treatment charges for storage, loading, and unloading. • Perform maintenance and service of mobile equipment, including inspections, fueling, safety checks, and cleaning. • Document and report mechanical operation and maintenance requirements. • Assist in hazardous waste processing, handling, and loading for shipment. • Participate in and contribute to the company safety program.

What You Bring
This role operates a knuckleboom, wheel loader, or front‑end loader and requires experience with heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and other industrial machines. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating such equipment and will be responsible for a variety of material‑handling tasks. Mobile Equipment Operator 3 will be trained to meet the qualifications and proficiency standards of a Mobile Equipment Operator 2. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and preferred experience as a mobile heavy‑equipment operator in wood products, with required front‑end loader or tractor experience. Candidates must hold PIE certification and demonstrate good eye‑hand coordination and the ability to follow simple one‑ or two‑step instructions. • Ability to purchase company stock.
