About the Role
As a Field Engineer you will act as the primary interface between on‑site teams and clients, overseeing equipment installation, maintenance, and start‑up, and ensuring jobsite services exceed customer expectations. • Coordinate crew deployment of tools and services while liaising with customers and shore‑based Operations Managers. • Solve complex technical problems on‑site through hands‑on work. • Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment and products at the work site. • Support tender processes with data analysis, cost estimates, and invoicing activities. • Participate in job‑shadowing to gain a holistic understanding of the business. • Take advantage of tailored financial programs and additional voluntary benefits.

What You Bring
The Early Career Program for Field Engineers at Baker Hughes is a 36‑month rotational experience designed to help recent graduates help clients locate and produce energy more efficiently while building a foundation for innovative contributions. Successful candidates will have earned a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering‑related discipline within the past three years, hold at least a 3.0 GPA, be fluent in English, and possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. They must also demonstrate strong interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, critical‑thinking, numerical, data‑analysis, and project‑management skills. • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or related field earned within the last 36 months. • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent). • Be fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship. • Demonstrate interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, critical‑thinking, numerical, data‑analysis, and project‑management abilities.
